Thunder Perfect Mind, Issue 1: Matter

A magazine made as an offering. Thunder Perfect Mind is a biannual print journal devoted to the Great Mother, the divine feminine as body and as Earth, one and the same.

Issue One takes Matter as its theme. A black matte cover with a triangle of gold foil that catches the light, and inside, essays, interviews and art that move between myth, psychedelia and the living world. Sculpture by Pınar Yolaçan, photographs by Koyoltzintli, the jeweled color of Pema Rinzin's painting. Its name comes from an ancient poem found among the Nag Hammadi texts, spoken in the voice of a goddess who holds every contradiction at once.

This is a slow read. Keep it on the low table, open to a single page, and return to it over many evenings. It rewards your attention the way a quiet room does.
