Nothing is finished. It is only between hands.
Emptying is only half of it. What leaves your house has to go somewhere, and where it goes is the whole point. A chair does not end when you are done with it. It waits, and then it starts again in another room.
Send it On
When you empty a room, do not let the pile sit in the garage for a year. That is not circulation, that is storage with better lighting.
Find the person or the place that needs it. A friend setting up a first apartment. A neighbor. A non-profit in your community.

Every Piece Has Been Somewhere
Most of what we sell has had a life before you. A table that fed a family. A chair someone read in for a decade.
We find these pieces, care for them, and set them out again.
This is part of why an OE room feels the way it does. Age is not damage. It is evidence.
Keep What Feels Good
Our curation works the same way. Pieces come to your house. You live with them for a while.
What makes you exhale, you keep. The rest goes back out and finds the person it is for.
Nothing is wasted. Nothing sits still.
