Ice blue and silver velvet, brushed with clouds of slate, held in a slim frame of dark mahogany. Elegant, and easy to live with.
The lines are classic Directoire. A straight, low back, arms that sweep outward in a soft sabre curve, and reeded legs finished in small brass caps. A fine row of brass nailheads traces the edge of the velvet, catching the light as you pass. The velvet shifts with every angle, pale as frost in one place and deep as stormwater in the next, so it never looks quite the same twice.
Picture it at the foot of your bed, or in a front room made for two. Coffee in the morning, a long talk in the evening, two soft cushions that give just enough.
