This sofa is a soft place to land.

Moss green velvet, crushed and worn to a low glow, buttoned deep across a back that rises in one slow arch and rolls down into scrolled arms. A single line of brass nailheads traces the base, and four dark walnut legs curl out at the foot.

Sink into the two deep cushions with a book and stay until the light changes. The velvet is soft under your hand, darker in the folds, catching the light where it has been loved.

It brings depth to a room, an earthy richness, the green of a forest floor. Grounded and a little feminine; old, and entirely now.
