Small and low, a single quiet gesture in warm rosewood-toned elm.

The scale is intimate, just twelve inches square and barely nine and a quarter tall, but the form carries all the weight of its lineage. A mitered top with its grain running in from every edge, a gently waisted apron, and four thick opium legs that curl under and in like a held breath, each one hollowed into a soft C at the foot. Decades of hands and use have left their mark: a scuff here, a hairline crack settling into a joint there, the kind of wear that only comes from a life actually lived. Under your palm the wood is warm, worn smooth at the corners where it's been carried and set down again and again.

Set it low beside where you sit and let it hold what the day brings. A cup of tea, a stack of the books you're circling back to, a candle burning toward evening. Vintage, one of a kind, and priced to come home with you.

Materials
Vintage elm with a warm rosewood-toned stain and lacquer finish, hand-carved scrolled "opium leg" feet, mitered banded top. Genuine age and wear throughout, honestly kept.
