Earth, pressed thin and held still. A field of rust, umber and tobacco brown that reads like skin, like soil, like ground seen from very high up.

The surface is handmade paper, layered and worked until it folds, tears and gathers on itself. A pale seam opens across the upper third like light breaking on a horizon, and below it the paper ripples in soft ridges and small dark flecks, the fibers left visible. Step close and it becomes all texture. Step back and it becomes landscape. A slim frame of warm wood lets the paper do all the talking.

This is a piece that grounds a room. It brings warmth and depth, a quiet earthiness that makes a space feel older and more held. Hang it above a low chair or a long bench and let the afternoon light move across its surface.
