Deep reddish elmwood, low to the ground, carrying decades of hands and use in every crack of its finish. The table your floor has been waiting for.
The top is a mitered frame around a burl rich center panel, the grain pooling like water beneath a coat of aged lacquer. Curved horse hoof legs sweep out from a waisted apron cut with a small ruyi cloud at its center, an old blessing for good fortune worked right into the wood. Every crack and worn edge is real, the record of a life already lived.
Picture it low beside a floor cushion or at the foot of a bed, holding tea while you read, a candle while you unwind, whatever the evening asks of it. Elmwood only deepens with time, so nothing here fades so much as settles further into itself.
