NAG CHAMPA. Warm, resinous, faintly sweet. The smell of a room that has been prayed in.
SANDALWOOD. Creamy and low, closer to wood than to smoke. Quiet enough to work beside.
PATCHOULI. Dark and earthy, with the sweetness that comes after rain. The most grounding of the four.
DACCA. Cedar, jasmine and rosemary. A forest cabin in the evening, clean and unhurried.
