Creeklight Parlor Table
A study in contrast: warmth and translucence, refinement and rawness. The glint of the glass submerged inside the smooth lines of wood is entrancing and delicate.
This handmade round coffee table pairs richly grained hardwood with flowing bands of resin embedded with crushed glass, creating a surface that catches light in unexpected ways. The wood carries deep honey, amber, and tobacco tones that glow warmly throughout the day, while the glass-filled resin introduces a cooler, mineral-like texture beneath the surface.
The silhouette is low and generous, with a thick solid top that seems to hover above its matte black steel base. The geometric X-frame adds structure and weight without overwhelming the softness of the rounded form.
Every variation in grain, pocket of glass, and irregular edge in the resin channels gives the piece movement, almost like water cutting through earth. It feels sculptural without being precious; substantial without heaviness.
Equally at home in a wabi-sabi interior, a modern organic space, or alongside vintage pieces with soul, this table brings texture, warmth, and quiet presence into a room. One of those rare pieces that changes the atmosphere simply by being there.
