Ceramic Oil Burner

The form is elemental — a matte black base rises to a shallow bowl, the two halves stacked and separate, so cleaning is easy and the whole thing comes apart in your hands. The surface has the rough, cast quality of something pulled from the earth. It earns candlelight.

Fill the bowl with a little water and a few drops of oil. Light a tealight underneath. Let the warmth do the rest. It holds an afternoon, a bath, a slow morning. Use it for essential oils, wax melts, frankincense resin, dried botanicals. It does what you ask of it and stays out of the way.
