The wood is warm, honey where the light catches it and deepening to walnut in the grain, with the small knots and marks that come from being real and being used. A gently scalloped edge runs along the apron, and four slender cabriole legs carry the whole thing with a kind of lightness, curving out and tapering down like they are barely touching the floor.
