Openwork curves that never quite close, one strand twisted like fine rope running beside a smooth polished one, the whole piece leaning the way a stem leans. A round amethyst sits at the very bottom in a beaded setting, the darkest point on the earring.
The curves are hand bent, so the two sides answer each other rather than match.
