The top is a single thick slab of solid wood, warm honey through the grain, with a front edge that dips and rises instead of cutting straight across. Four blackened metal legs hold it up in a clean angled stance, grounded by a low stretcher that keeps the whole thing steady. Simple where it needs to be, considered everywhere else.
