Bare Umber wears its wrinkles like a landscape wears a season. A wide plane of raw umber cloth, pulled taut over wood and wrapped clean at the corners, ready to hold a wall.

Every crease and pucker left exactly where it fell before it was stretched, reading now as something between a horizon and a topography, a quiet map of nothing in particular.
