Light Sage Velvet Tufted Sofa
Sage green velvet, tufted deep, sitting long and low like it has nowhere else to be. This sofa has clearly lived a life already, and there is room in it for yours too.
The back rises in a wide field of diamond tufting, buttons pressed in by hand, and the rolled arms curve down lower and softer, edged in a slim rail of dark carved wood. Cabriole legs carry the whole piece on a shell carved apron, French in feeling, unhurried in shape. Run your hand along the top rail and you can feel where the finish has been touched a thousand times before yours.
Picture it under a window, three cushions deep, holding a stack of books, a coat thrown over one arm, a Sunday that runs long. The velvet has softened with age the way good velvet does, and it wears its history honestly. There is a hairline crack in one front leg and a little wear in the wood finish, the kind of marks that come from being sat in and lived with rather than kept behind glass. Nothing structural, nothing hidden, just a piece with real years on it.

Solid carved wood frame in a dark mahogany tone finish, fully upholstered in light sage velvet with diamond button tufting across the back and rolled arms, carved cabriole legs with a shell motif, three loose seat cushions. Vintage condition: a hairline crack in one front leg and light finish wear at the arms and legs. Sold as is.
