Antique Books

Old books, sold one at a time. Cloth and board covers gone soft at the corners, spines faded to whatever colour the light in some other room turned them, page edges gone dark with age. Some have marbled endpapers. Some have a name written inside the front cover in a hand nobody writes in anymore.

We buy them for the way they sit. Stacked under a lamp, holding a door open, filling the low shelf nobody knows what to do with, laid flat with something heavy and beautiful on top.

Sizes and colours vary. Every one is different, so we choose for you — and we choose well. If you're after something specific, small and thick or tall and slim or a particular colour, email us before you order and we'll tell you what's on the shelf.

Sold individually. Antique, and the condition is honest: rubbed edges, soft corners, the occasional loose hinge. That's the point.
