Vintage Art Deco club tub chair. Olive-green velvet. Approx. 29" W x 28" D x 29" H. $375 each, 2 available. Sold individually, or take the pair for $700.

A low, rounded chair in soft olive velvet, the kind of seat a room quietly curves around.

The back wraps you like a barrel, one continuous curve that holds your shoulders and turns the corner into a little room of its own. The velvet is the deep green of moss after rain, warm one moment and gone to shadow the next as the light moves across the pile. Polished cherry wood frames each arm and slips down into slender tapered legs, the grain glowing where the afternoon reaches it. Under your hand the velvet is dense and soft, the wood cool and smooth.

Picture your evenings here. A book, a low lamp, a glass set on the arm while the light goes gold and then blue. It is a reading chair, a corner chair, the seat you take when you want to be held by the room rather than swallowed by the couch. This one is vintage, so it carries its years honestly. The velvet has softened, the wood has deepened, and every faint mark is a life already lived in it.
