A wingback chair in a faded, mossy green velvet, worn soft with age until the pile catches light like water. Part of a matching pair, sold individually, two available.

High backed and generous, with rolled arms that curve in against you and wings that turn the seat into its own small enclosure. Queen Anne legs, carved at the knee, taper down to a rounded pad foot in a warm honey walnut. The velvet has lived a long life. Years of light and use have worn it into soft two-tone shading, pale where hands and afternoons have pressed the nap flat, deeper green where they haven't. No two panels read quite the same, which is exactly what makes it feel real.

Set two across from each other, or side by side with a low table between. A reading chair, a fireside chair, the one your evenings gather into. Two are available and they match exactly, so take one for yourself or bring home the pair.

It arrives already broken in, ready to be lived on rather than looked at.

Vintage sage green velvet upholstery, naturally worn and shaded with use, over a solid wood frame with carved cabriole front legs in a warm walnut finish and simple tapered rear legs.
