The Odessa Curvy Dresser

Four drawers that curve like a slow exhale, in raw pine gone gold with age, held in a case worn soft and black at the edges.

The front moves in a long, unhurried wave, drawer after drawer, each one framed by a dark line worn thin in places, down to the bare wood beneath. The fronts themselves are left bare, grain and knots of the pine showing through where a hand might rest. A chalky white washes the top and the small turned feet, worn at the corners the way old paint always is. Two turned knobs sit on every drawer, small and round and warm under your fingers.

Picture it holding what a bedroom actually holds. Folded linen, a stack of slips, the things you reach for half asleep. Set a candle on top, a small dish for rings, and let the top take on its own quiet clutter over time.
