Cane wraps the sides in a fine, breathing lattice, framed by warm mahogany-toned wood that scrolls at the arm and curves again at the leg. The back rises in soft diamond tufting, tan velvet pulled taut over each button, the nap catching gold where the light lands and falling to shadow where it doesn't. Cabriole legs carry the whole thing lightly, down to small turned feet that have clearly stood in a few rooms before yours.
Picture it holding your evenings. A book angled toward the last of the light, a coffee going cold on the arm, the velvet warming slowly under your hand. This is a chair with some years in it, and the finish shows a few honest marks of that: a soft scuff at one foot, a little variation in the velvet's color where hands and light have settled over time.
