A matched pair of armless lounge chairs that sit close to the ground, built on solid wood weathered to a soft driftwood gray, the silvered color that only sun and open air can give. The frame is honest and geometric, an open angular base that lifts the deep seat just off the floor and leaves a clean triangle of light beneath. Nothing hidden, nothing fussed over.

The wood has lived a little, and it wears it well. Fine grain, faint checking, the pale silvering across the rails where the weather has been. Run your hand along the arm rail and you feel real material, cool and a touch rough, the patina of a piece that has been somewhere. On top, two generous cushions in a calm slate blue-gray, a seat and a back, thick and soft and made to be sunk into.

Solid wood frame in a weathered driftwood-gray finish, with two loose cushions per chair (seat and back) in a slate blue-gray fabric. Indoor or outdoor. Pre-owned, with light natural weathering to the wood consistent with outdoor use, part of the character of the piece.
