Olive Velvet Vintage Tufted Sofa
Deep in tufted olive velvet, worn soft by decades of use. A sofa that already knows how to hold a room.
The back rises in a wide curve, diamond tufted from arm to arm, each button pulling the velvet into shadow and light. The arms sweep up and out like wings, channeled at the top where the fabric catches the sun, and edged the whole way around in a clean line of ivory piping. Underneath, the base curves too, a soft serpentine line instead of a hard corner, so the whole piece feels poured rather than built. Three loose cushions hold the seat, plain and deep, with two tufted bolsters tucked into the corners for your elbow or the small of your back.
The velvet has that low, brushed sheen only real age gives a fabric, warmer where light catches the pile, darker in its folds, a little worn at the arms in the way that says this has been sat on and loved.
