This chair has charm.

A small balloon back framed in carved walnut, wrapped all the way around in reeded ribbon carving, swelling at the shoulders into carved leaves. The seat is deep and softly domed, and the whole of it is dressed in antique gold crushed velvet, mottled and shifting from olive to honey as the light moves across it. A mustard scroll trim traces every edge.

Below, a scalloped seat rail carved with a central scroll, and four cabriole legs that curl into small scroll feet.

Low and compact, made for a dressing table, a bedroom corner, the foot of a bed or a reading nook by the window.

It brings a little romance to a room, something warm and golden and slightly theatrical. A chair that makes you want to sit down and stay.

Made in the Louis XV style. In good vintage condition, with wear and patina to the walnut and light marks to the velvet consistent with age. Offered at the Organic Erotic exclusive price of $650.
