The Hestia is a Restoration Hardware extension dining table in reclaimed pine, finished in black and worn back by years of use until pale grain shows at every edge. The top is built of framed, recessed panels, and an 18 inch leaf takes it from a table for six to a table for eight.

Price: $750
Closed: 60" L × 35 1/4" W × 30" H
Extended: 78" L × 35 1/4" W × 30" H (one 18" leaf)

Square legs taper toward the floor under a plain apron, simple and sure. The black is honest and lived in: chips, scuffs, knots, a small check at one corner and a few nicks on the legs. None of it is hiding, and all of it is why it feels like it has always been yours.

It brings weight and warmth to a room, a dark, grounded center that pulls people in and keeps them there long after the plates are cleared.

A vintage Restoration Hardware piece in used condition, as pictured, at an OE exclusive price. One of a kind, in Harlem, NYC. Local delivery available.
