Dusty Rose Velvet Tufted Wingback Chair
Dusty rose velvet, worn to a soft patina, wrapped around a wingback silhouette that asks you to sink all the way in.
The back rises tall and wings out at the shoulders, deep diamond tufting catching the light in every fold. Below it the seat cushion holds its own gentle scallop, soft as it looks. Rolled arms trace down to a double row of antique brass nailheads, tracing the whole frame low along the base. Underneath, cabriole legs in a warm walnut-toned wood carry the weight with an old-world curve.
This is a vintage piece, and it wears its history honestly. The velvet has faded in a few places to a paler rose, and there's a small pulled seam near the top of the back where years of use show through. Nothing structural, just the marks of a chair that has been sat in and loved.
Picture it tucked into a reading corner, something to disappear into with a book and a low lamp. It holds you the way only a wing chair can, high backed, private, entirely yours.
