Chocolate Velvet Mushroom

A plump mushroom cap in deep chocolate-burgundy velvet, its underside stitched into fine radiating gills, set on a real dried stalk for the stem: pale, ridged and naturally irregular. Soft and sculptural, it rests on its side like something just gathered from the forest floor. Lovely on a shelf, a bookstack or an altar.
