Antique Ripple Table

The form is all ripple and repose. A conical pedestal rises from the floor in tight concentric rings, the pattern continuing across the round top like a stone dropped in still water, caught at the moment of stillness. The finish is antique and matte, warm where the light finds the ridges, deeper where it doesn't. Surprising under your fingers: not cold, not sharp-edged. Just present.

Set a candle on it and watch what the light does. The rings hold small things beautifully: prayer beads coiled in the center, a ceramic cup, a single stem in a bottle.
