A tall, slender lamp in aged brass, the kind of light a room leans toward once the sun goes down.

The line is all elegance. A square brass column rises from a sculptural base, four scrolled acanthus feet under a fluted plinth that tapers up like a little spire, every edge softened by a warm, honest patina. A small brass tassel hangs from the pull-chain, the sort of detail nobody makes anymore. Above it, a tall string-silk shade the color of cream and candlelight. Pull the chain and the whole shade warms to amber, throwing a low golden pool across the wall and whatever you have gathered beneath it.

Picture your evenings here. The lamp lit on a bedside table while you read the last pages, on a console by the door catching your keys and your coming and going, in the corner that only needs one soft source of light to feel alive. Brass this old has already lived a life, and it wears every year of it beautifully. Nothing about it is new, and that is the pleasure of it.
