The Normandy Armoire

Reclaimed pine carries its years right in the wood: knots left in place, grain gone uneven and warm from decades of hands and light, iron pulls worn soft at the touch. The arched crown gives it a considered shape, doors strapped in hand-forged iron the way Norman farmhouse armoires were built two centuries ago, tall and arched to fit beneath a sloped roofline.

Two doors open onto a full shelf for folding and storing what needs the most room, two drawers hold what wants a closer hand, and two lower doors keep the rest tucked away. The scalloped base gives it a final line of grace, and the whole piece holds a room the way something built to last always does.
